Future Scientists and Engineers of America

FSEA turns the thrill of hands-on learning into a lifelong experience for the future. FSEA, a national program of Discovery Science Center in California has developed lots of fun and challenging projects that allow students to do real engineering and science. FSEA is a great way to get students interested in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.  It's fun, engaging, and involves real-world application projects that help relate the importance of education to really sweet future career possibilities.  Future Scientists and Engineers of America (FSEA) is an award winning national program that can motivate, inspire, challenge and introduce students to the thrill of science, mathematics, technology and engineering. Started in 1989, this community based, after-school program, uses a unique combination of challenging hands-on projects and volunteers and support from local businesses in an after-school setting where students experience the "technology process." FSEA clubs all across the country currently meet one day a week. Students from grades 4 through 12 work together in teams, with local scientists, engineers and technicians to design, build, test and compete hands-on projects.
