Project Catalog

Projects are listed as elementary, middle or high school, however at the discretion of the mentor and teacher, projects may be applicable to any grade. For example, lower grade level projects such as the Land Yacht (LY1) may be used by other grade levels by simply decreasing the number of sessions. The performance requirements of higher grade level projects may be reduced so they may be accomplished by lower grade level students. For further advise on projects please call your Regional Director or FSEA.

Most projects are designed for teams of two to four members. Some are suitable for individual projects. Each project contains all of the material required to complete the project. Mentors may have to provide hot glue guns, drills or fans for some of the projects. With each set of projects ordered for a chapter, the mentor receives project instructions, certificates, ribbons, and project evaluation forms.

The number of sessions is an estimate of the time required to complete the project and is dependent on the number of students, number of mentors, student ability and organization of the teacher and mentor. The number of session is listed as a guide only.
